This programme is aimed at training "agents of change", both in healthcare organisations and in the associated industry, who can become facilitators of the introduction of methodologies and/or products and services based on Artificial Intelligence in the healthcare sector. To this end, the programme is divided into four modules that, in a complementary manner, provide the knowledge and tools necessary to successfully design, develop and implement an Artificial Intelligence project.
The programme will build from the fundamental foundation knowledge required to fully understand the subject which will be included in earlier modules on your studies, enabling all students to have a strong foundation for their future studies. At the end of the programme, students should be able to conceive and lead from the beginning multidisciplinary teams that develop Artificial Intelligence projects in healthcare organisations and related industries.
Engineering and related degrees.
The programme will develop the students’ knowledge as follows:

For each teaching unit, you will complete a 10-question quiz to gauge your level of understanding on the topics covered.
At the end of each module your summative assessment will consist of a multiple-choice examination and a coursework task such as a case study, data analysis task or literature review.
You can also attend masterclasses with renowned speakers (usually once a month) and sessions with the career guidance team.
Towards the end of your studies you will undertake a final project. This generally consists of an independent research project on a topic related to your studies which you complete over a prolonged period with the support of a supervisor.
In addition to your studies you may wish to undertake a period of work experience, and CEMP can assist you in identifying and contacting suitable companies.
The academic year is split into 3 trimesters. The first two trimesters will deliver the taught modules on your programme. The final trimester will then be used for you to complete your final major study.
